Hello Ricardo,

> Frankly, this is absurd.

What is absurd here, Ricardo, is the situation, that is, the guix
reaction to my kindly expressed request that it would use the upstream
name as its g-golf package name, post-fixed as required:

        g-golf-x.y.z[-guile-x.y]
[ with additional post-fix qualifiers, if needed, as debian does

Is this such a problem, for guix, to make an exception? As you all
understood by now, this is a bit of a sensitive subject for me.

Soon guix will also offer an example package per upstream typelib, per
major version number, ported to g-golf, so it would be nice to have:

        g-golf
        g-golf-gtk-4-examples
        g-golf-adw-1-examples
        ...

[ and those to inherit the guix g-golf pkg

This was my last call.

Best Regards,
David
