Hello Guix, Completing my previous sent email about G-Golf packages in Guix
I did ask, a long time ago, that G-Golf pkg(s) name(s) would not be prefixed by 'guile-', and i see this has been adopted, many thanks: https://packages.guix.gnu.org/search/?query=g-golf => g-golf 0.8.0-rc9 But I see it still has: guile-g-golf 0.8.0-rc9 Please allow me to suggest to get rid of it: it is redundant and a bit confusing, looking at the search results, for a 'newbie', which g-golf pkg they would/should pick to start[/learn/try]. I also see you keep 'the old naming convention' for older version: guile2.2-g-golf 0.8.0-rc9 I would like to suggest to rather adopt a post-fixed guile version number approach: g-golf 0.8.0-rc9-guile2.2 With all the above, considering my previous email, guix would have g-golf 0.8.0 g-golf-gtk-4-examples 0.8.0 g-golf-adw-1-examples 0.8.0 and possibly, if you still wish to maintain those for earlier version(s) of guile: g-golf 0.8.0-guile-2.2 g-golf-gtk-4-examples 0.8.0-guile-2.2 g-golf-adw-1-examples 0.8.0-guile-2.2 Thanks, David
