It's an assumption in science that the language difference is due to
brain difference. That's not to say that our techniques are at present
refined enough to see a difference, but there must be one if language
is due to the brain.
I don't think science is supposed to make assumptions.

Science is *only* assumptions.
I know that there is a widespread belief that science = truth, but
that is deeply wrong, and results, I think, from having opposed
science and religion. It makes science like a pseudo-religion
pretending to know some certainties.
That is why my plea for a coming back of theology in science is a plea
for coming back to modesty, critics, and questioning, in that domain.
