I've had SAFECO since 2019 and haven't had to do any surveys.

Progressive said they are not writing any new polices where my boat is kept (zip code 27889) for any boats over 35 feet. That included liability only. So with new survey in hand, I've been renewed with Geico for 2026. This was with no survey. They were also the only company in the country that would touch my 1963 Hatteras 34 Sport Fish. That had a survey, and they did it for the full amount. I could not even get anyone to do a simple liability, let alone full insurance. My surveyor said his experience with Progressive is good luck getting $$ out of them.
