When I bought my C&C, and sold my old boat the surveyor hired by the buyer was very good.
I believe he was based in Port Washington. I think I have his contact info at my office. If the boat is closer to the east end of LI, Andrew Kinsey, is very good. I grew up racing Lasers and Sunfish against Andrew (usually loosing) I can chase down current contact info for him if it would be helpful. Let me know where on LI the boat is docked and I can get you some contact info.
