We have installed dozens of these so I wanted to chime in.
First off the difference on connecting up a 5Ghz vs 3.65ghz 450m
5Ghz will use only POE and has an aux port and a SFP port
3.65Ghz has a DC Port with 4pin connector. It also has a main, aux and SFP port. In order for any of them to use sync the main port must have Cambium Sync to it.

We have started using the DC card packetflux has to power and control the 450m 3.65 radios. I have  not had any issues by doing so, but we do run the main, aux and fiber ports for data and aux control.

One of the thing we do to ensure long term reliability is installing the DC Lpus on all cables that use the Cat6 Armored cables we also install the DC Lpus for the DC ports. We also have inline fuses to each dc port. A tip is also add the cable ground kits if your running the armored cable up the tower.

We see 300 to 400Mbs of traffic on a couple of our medusas that are cbsd's at 30mhz wide

Fiber never looked so good on those ports LOL :)

Im confused as shit, and the cambium documentation is not clear. The syncinjector cambium sync says 450m, but is the only 450m 5ghz? the 3ghz as bestI can tell is a DC only product (even says something about sync over power)

so will the syncinjector still provide sync at the ethernet port, i just turn off the power output on the syncinjector? or am i misunderstanding this and the 450m 3ghz will take power via the ethernet port?

forrest?
