I don't think it offends me, at least. But OS projects have to get *merit* to override "corporate standards" and that's what a lot of OS developers fail to see. Last time I check Struts wasn't an official standard, and Tapestry could go the same path, if it sticks with corporate values such as stability, marketing, support, etc ;).

All open source, of course.
