Well, it is old saying to "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".
For the 'idea' of marketing there is the healthy reality check: Lets turn on TV and count how many advertisements fall into category of "crap" and how many "do provide information", same exercise might be repeated with a magazine, newspaper etc. The next step is to recognize mind programming or 'framing' techniques: - image of a slim sexy person chewing fast food - framing fast food as healthy; - image of 'cool' persons drinking various not so healthy drinks - framing cheap unhealthy drinks as 'cool' for super profits; - pest control - lawn poisoning; list goes on and on. And yes, your example of Firefox ad page is the rare example of good marketing. I wish there were more of such. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
