For Mac, the app does not run full screen, nor does it run from the .app;
these could be related.
When I run windowed, the Retina screen seems to be an issue. The QL widget
is only one quarter of the screen. When I move the window to a non-Retina
screen, the GL widget correctly fills the screen.
