Sobig.E. is a virus designed to create a backdoor trojan on a system to send out SPAM. Get it? The particular virus that this list is dissemminating 3 or 4 times a day to possibly thousands (?) of subscribers is a SPAMMER TOOL created for the specific purpose of allowing the spammer to use infected PC's to send out untraceable spam. Every time you see one of those infected emails, that is an attempt by a SPAMMER to make YOUR computer into a spam machine. The difference between Sobig.E. and earlier versions of Sobig is that it is much more efficient as a spam tool because it is multi-threaded.
