I have been running VNC on my Windows 2000 machines. I recently add some
Windows XP machines.
When using VNC to view other machines I get the message " Failed to get Server
Name".

We have recently seen a lot of UserEnv errors on different Windows 2000
servers.
And it seems that WinVnc is causing the problem, if we uninstall WinVnc the
problem disappears.

I get a "Connection closed" error and can not no longer access my remote

and/or router (the Cisco and Sygate stuff) is causing the

a user was running a viewer from behind a NAT'ing router,
and the masquerade timeouts on that router were too small.
It seems that I can no longer connect via the Internet to my VNC host
machine using my laptop and it's modem. This is REALLY becoming
aggrivating. If anyone has suggestions about what i could do to prevent

I have loaded VNC successfully on 150+ systems. Today in my test
environment, I was attempting to install VNC 3.3.3r7 on 3 servers, all from
different vendors. On each of them I received an Error 105 message. Can
someone shed some light on this error?

I get the following error when I do 'vncserver -cc 3' on a Solaris
system. If I do not use the '-cc 3', the VNCServer starts un in TrueColor
mode but I need PseudoColor. Any ideas what may be wrong?

and all seems to work fine, the server, xterm and
twm were all running (on display cad2:1). When I connect to the workstation using the
viewer on my PC, I can get "X desktop" too, can even open a new xterm window from it.
But when I try to open an application program such as Hotjava,
I have this error when i4m installinting the vnc client in one machine running
Windows95, i had installeted the vnc befofe but i have deleted it. May this be
the cause of the problem.

I have the server set up under Windows 98. As a test, I tried to log in
using Netscape 4.77. So I typed "http://hostname:5800";, and the login
screen came up asking for password, but after entering password, an
