Dietmar:

Everything is default. It is a new installation.

Thanks,

Joe

Joe,
I presume you are using your own html or whatever to start the applet. I'd
suggest to start everything at the default. To my knowledge (not tried) this
is achieved by not setting any params to the applet except for the HOST and
PORT if necessary at all

Hi Dietmar thanks for replying.

By default it was already set to use Yes. I just tried to switch it to No,
and now the password screen does not even come up now.

Subject: java.io.EOFException Error

Hi all,

I start the VNC server app, then on my client workstation I could start my
browser and point to it, start a session the first time no problem. Once I
click on Disconnect it kicks me out of the session.

When I go back in again, I get this java.io.EOFException error whenever I
try to connect to a server the second time.

What causes this to happen? Did I shut down my first session incorrectly?
Your help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe Cheng
