Hi I have a problem with the display. I am running my server on my Solaris 7 workstation and my viewer on my Win98 PC. Initially, there was some problem executing the xstartup script because I do not have a .Xresource in my home directory. So I simply created an empty file with that name and all seems to work fine, the server, xterm and twm were all running (on display cad2:1). When I connect to the workstation using the viewer on my PC, I can get "X desktop" too, can even open a new xterm window from it. But when I try to open an application program such as Hotjava, the error message "X toolkit error" came out and the program output was stopped. Have tried setting the environment with : >setenv DISPLAY myPC_IP:0 but still cannot work. Anyone has any ideas? Thanks.
