Your info says Windows OPEN OFFICE version is 32 bit and requires 32 bit Java,
problem is on Java site the only version for Windows 11 is 64 bit so creates a
conflict that needs addressing. Lee

Hi my open office base will not work as it say need a jre. I have installed

The only thing that comes to mind due to the fact that MAC OSX only
works with the 64-bit version of the Java environment is that you try to
install one of the relevant MAC versions of the Libre Office software
(based on OpenOffice). I know only that I installed about a year ago
under Windows

Apache Open Office supports only 32-bit version of JRE.
If you have installed the correct version of Java software, you must point

to an envelope in Writer(odt). I was attempting to make a change of
