This is a known problem with Oracle Java as detailed in the AOO Version
4.1.2 Release notes at
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OOOUSERS/AOO+4.1.2+Release+Notes#AOO4.1.2ReleaseNotes-KnownIssues.

The work around is to make sure that the legacy Apple Java is installed
from the following link:
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572
