Thanks Al :-) - That was the idea. The concept is, you print something
like that off, fold it, and post it through peoples letterboxes, hand
it out or pin it to notice boards.
Folks notice the headline - 'how would you like a safer, faster
computer for free'

another specific target audience. The reason I chose the fancy fonts I
suppose where as I had a teens to early 40s demographic in mind which
I guessed may be more receptive to the funkier kind of text.

legally entitled to use them in Ubuntu, but IANAL.
FWIW, the excellent chaps at Fluendo now sell a licenced codec pack
which includes most of the popular windowsy formats (although only for
gstreamer, obviously).

didn't know much about it. I didn't look at Ubuntu however as I know
what it is.
Perhaps the results reflect the fact that PCLinuxOS is currently
maturing and its audience is growing, and that Ubuntu has reached a

I built powertop, but it requires a kernel > than 2.6.21 with
CONFIG_TIMER_STATS enabled to show detailed stats. It does show some
interesting stuff even without

a P4 2.6 sony vaio, ati radeon 9600 3d card, a gig of ddr memory, and
i've just ordered a 320GB hard disk.
