It has not happened for a ~30 minute lapse of time yesterday possibly
because it only made very few write operations (some almost stalled
torrent downloads and the copy of two small files) though it read much

configuration: you have to look for the mount point of the ipod and set
it manually in the configuration window of amarok. For unexperienced
users, this means: "amarok does not work with ipods".

Thanks to james_w on #ubuntu-bugs, the affected package has been found,
it is libhunspell.
Steps to reproduce:
* Install hunspell (apt-get install hunspell)
* Put in a test file the word "eleve"
* type in a terminal :
~$ hunspell -d fr test
* result: hunspell suggest the exact same lis
Bug confirmed with Spanish (try "compania" => "compañía") and Portugese (try
"edicao" => "edição"):
* Firefox fails to suggest the correct word
* aspell command line does suggest the correct word a the first option.
This is definitely a bug that affects many languages (at least, the ones

This is a problem i have noticed in all version of ubuntu i've been
using, hoary to edgy, on different i386 computers:
Nautilus sometimes hangs when showing a directory with thumbnails.

I think this should be considered a system wide bug. Lots of people open
a document from firefox, thunderbird or any other internet program that
saves temporally files to /tmp when opening them with another
application.
The typical case is opening an attached document from a webmail to
openoffice.
