You have been kind enough to enable this driver in the kernel, but it
conflicts with the gma500 stub driver.
IMHO, VNC, specifically vino, is the single most common crack I see on
the Ubuntu forums.
While VNC servers may be familiar to new users coming from Windows, and
while it may be disabled by default, it is all too easy for new users to
enable and then their router forwards the port via UPnP.

The update went through, I had two errors flash by during the upgrade,
one on flashplugin-nonfree and the other on apparmor.
I *did* have a few custom apparmor scripts and will have to look at both
of these problems in more depth as time allows.

Honestly, no offense, but somebody familiar with VPS needs to look at
this along with someone familiar with Upstart or at least the boot
scripts.
If you do not know anything about VPS or OpenVZ, my bug report is not
going to make sense.

You build a "template" which then runs as a guest on the host node.
There are several guides for how to do this, basically you use
debootstrap

I am running Ubuntu servers as a VPS using OpenVZ
The new upstart is not working in the ubuntu 9.10 VPS.
It seems that Upstart is not calling telinit 2 or init 2
I can not figure out why, have been looking in the /etc/event /etc/init
directorie

This bug still exists, the latest updates as of today have not fixed the

First , I performed a fresh install and there was no mount-functions.sh to
remove.
I added the script myself to allow me to run ifdown and if
