Ok, so I can't seem to figure out how to manually fix the buddy list
since the only list I found with buddies in them is blist.xml and the
buddies that keep appearing are not in that list... any help would be
appreciated...

My deepest apologies! I must have filled in the wrong password the last

As far as I know, Ubuntu is installed with IPTables installed by default. I
know this because after a clean install I can check iptables and I get a list

So by default there does seem to be a firewall installed. Firestarter that gets

IPTables is blocking the GRE protocol.
When i install firestarter and add the external IP address of the server I want

Unfortunately firestarter is needed for me to be able to have any connection at

note, when specifying to iptables that the IP adress I connect to should have

Ok, on the Routing tab there is no Protocol dialog as far as I know, but
there is a "Only use VPN for these addresses" that I checked and added
