netscape, resize mail reader, every time I resize it, it
spawns a new netscape window. Regardless if the intial
netscape browser window is minimized or maximized after
that.

However, the feed back I have been getting has been mostly negative.

Having not installed RH since 5.x and seeing 'Automatic Partitioning'

How do you do that? Just use the new packages to replace the old ones, then
burn them?
I am thinking about doing this. Also, might give away the old ones. :)

Well, an update to the broken installer is available.
However, I think this fix is terribly inconvenient. Not only do I need
TWO floppy disks in addition to the CD, but I also need to remember
special instructions for getting it to work properly.
I sincerely hope that Red Hat considers the pos

Well it's about time for a positive note.
I just got my 6.1 CDs today.
Did a fresh install on a Dual PII box.
The install went flawless.

Hi,
I tried rebuilding the xchat program that comes with RH 6.1 (using

with a V in /red/. This is a _big_ UI design mistake.
When I first saw that, my reaction was: "hmmm, we have something

I installed 6.1 on a 440BX board, and everything went fine, as it usually
