I would recommend using Teck 90 cable for direct burial. It is armored and
coated and rated for just about anything. You can get it in a variety of wire
gauges and numbers of conductors. It makes trench installations fast and easy.

I didn’t really register the distance on the first look. These days, 3,600 feet
of 3” PVC conduit is going to knock you back ~$18,000 to start, plus trenching
and cable on top of that. I agree with prior comments that it would be cheaper
to put in a new system.

You have 300’ of head on one side of the crest and 700’ on the other. That’s
129 psi on one side and 301 psi on the other. Turn either of those pressures
into suction and water would boil at room temperatures. Aside from pipe
strength, any siphon would be limited by that.

I'm with Jerry Shafer on this one. S-5 clamps with rails work well
without punching holes in the metal roof. If the roof is fastened well
to beefy steel C channel it should be fine. The S-5 clamps themselves
are stronger than the roofing.

not considered "qualified." Conduit in a trench to a ground mount is
qualified. Landscaping work to clean up after the trench is not.
