Peter,

I’d recommend 2-0 copper for this. Overkill? Perhaps, but the battery cables 
are probably the cheapest vital part of the system. Anything you can do to make 
life a bit better for the batteries will pay off. A few extra bucks for cable 
is a lot cheaper than one warrantee site visit.

Cobra “x-flex” cable is MTW THW fine strand, NEC compliant, and easy to bend in 
small spaces.
