i found a solution to do mutt works with smtp (masqmail) ... but i'm

All you need is some smtp capable application (postfix, sendmail,
etc) installed. AFAIK, they do not need to run in daemon mode, just
command mode while mail is being sent.

I am teaching Linux 8 currently and my students have had a lot of problems with the
3.2 version for linux. On the exact same hardware it installs fine on one box and not
on another. 3.2 for windows seems to be stable. Personally I would run 3.1 on Linux
until the 3.2 release is more stable. To b

My guess is that he means mutt doesn't use SMTP (AFAIK) to send mail to
a rem
userlist_deny is not for vsftpd.ftpusers. What I am looking for is a
simple user entry in vsftpd.ftpusers to deny access like ftpaccess does
for wu-ftpd. The man page for vsftpd says vsftpd.ftpusers should do

All three check out on the test before install.
I am installing on a 3.2gb drive that is formatted FAT32.
The install process seems to be going flawlessly but for some reason the
install stops and I have to turn the machine

I had similar problem with one of my machines and it was caused by the dma
enabled dy default for the harddisk. Try 'ide=nodma' as kernel command line.
If by chance your problem has the same cause, this will fix it.

Paul there is no point in turning quotas on if no aquota.* files are
being created on the FS after running quotacheck -avug . I cannot even
get to that stage. I think the problem is quotas and ext3 don't work
very well currently. I checked on Google and many people are having the
same problems.

I had this problem once--ended up being in the BIOS of the machine--you have
to set the BIOS to read the disk as OTHER (or some other OS other than DOS)
then things should work fine. If you still get the freezing--check the
RedHat hardware compatibility list. I had similar problems getting it to
just go to a mirror site and download the new ernel package, then type rpm
-Uvh packagename and reboot. This vulnerability sounds like it would be
hard to exploit.
