I assume you mean the Notifications Center? If so, open the Notifications
Center, ope the preferences with the button you'll find, select Mail in the
table of apps, and disable it from appearing. That should prevent it from
posting notifications.

That usually happens if your iCloud service is set to use that Apple ID in any
manner. Try going into System Preferences, iCloud and see if that account is

I have a BRF question. When reading a brf in text edit, I turn off automatic
braille translation. As far as I can tell, I have to use 8 dot braille for the
brf to be represented correctly. Is there a way to read a brf file in 6 dot

I thought you could install windows itself without sighted help. Of course,
you'd need help with installing speech unless you're familiar with the
keystrokes to get your speech going.

Has anyone had issues to where, if you started the new twitter iPhone app, it
only says welcome to Twitter and shows no tabs like home, etc?
It also says discover new timelines, and shows nothing else

I've beeen experimenting with the latest version of twitter for the iphone. I
finally figured out how to get to your timeline and past the intro screen.
When the intro screen comes up, turn voiceover off and then swipe to the
right. Finally turn voiceover back on again and you can read your
Odd. the swipe to the right didn't work, though when I quickly turned V O off
as twitter was loading, then back on, it knew that VO was on, but it made no
difference in the end.

What I did was to let the twitter app load until I got that welcome screen.
That's when I turned vo off and swiped to the right. Not sureif youhave to
swipe 1 or 2 times, but then turn vo back on and you should be able to tap on
the screen to make things happen.

Hey Alex and others. After investigating the app, I found that there was no way
to download a video unless that save option does it but I somehow doubt it. So
I think I'll still use Mactubes unless someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
