I’m trying one more time since I didn’t get an answer and I’m quite puzzled.
I’m trying to set up my email clients on my iMac and I’m getting nothing. I put
in all the information and it doesn’t create the account. I don’t get any error
messages. Any ideas?

Usually i would say that you can open the pdf in preview, press cmd
-a, too mark it all after that press cmd-c too copy it all, open
textedit and press cmd-v too set it all into a empty document.

Window-eyes will not work with WIndows-rt, and I’m not sure that it will work
well on the surface albeit, it will probably try. I think you’re right in that
Narrator will probably be merged with window-eyes, but most of this is largely
speculation.

Sounds like you might want to do an OS reinstall. Back your drives then do the
install fresh after hard formatting the principal drive your OS was on. A bit

Well, I have found that a fresh clean install is usually the way to go after
about a year or so. May want to do it myself before April or so. I believe a
clean install might be the ticket for you.

Hard drives have two connectors - one for power and another for data. On
both IDE and SATA drives the power connector has four fairly fat wires

I am not a particularly big fan of ibooks on the mac. In the past i used stanza
to convert epubs and other ebook formats to txtfiles. Under mavericks stanza
does not seem to work for me anymore though, i get the message that the archive
is damaged.

That depends on the app you use. The iBooks app can handle PDFs, as can the $10
Voice Dream Reader, mail can also open them if they are attached to a message.
Sometimes PDFs are made in such a way that they are hard to read, but give
iBooks a shot and see if that helps.

Yeah VO worked for two hours without the choppiness but now is back to being

There are a few processes that happen when a machine is first turned on that,
for non VO users, just wouldn't be noticed. For example, if you shutdown or
put your computer to sleep overnight, there is a nightly HD "tune-up" that the
OS will perform once the machine is awakened ready to go.
I don't think this is a Mavericks/vo problem per se or at least all by itself;
there would apparently seem to be some other variable along with Mavericks and
vo that is triggering this since there are many people who are not experiencing
the problem along with those who are. I upgraded to Maveri
Tim the Apple customer service guy agreed with you as he told me that a clean
install is the very very last thing he would do. Go figure VO is back to
working again, very bizarre behavior.

run constantly and eat CPU power like crazy
