I think you go in to the VIP folder, highlight what you want to remove and do
the contextual menu. I personaly now like adding and removing VIPS using my I
phone as they are all synced these days, so the Mac will reflect what you've
done on the I phone if you have an I phone!

Just to say I am noticing that commercial apps for the mac are way way
cheaper than the competition, even if the app is for both platforms I
see the mac equivalents are way cheaper. Take Vmware Fusion for example.

Thanks, you just solved my problem. I was using CMD-L, so the page was just
being replaced. Thus, when I pressed Cmd-W, all my pages closed, leaving
Safari with no open windows. That was what I was trying to avoid. :)

Dont think it's normal from the time I have been with computers. The fan
should turn on and off all by itself depending on temperature and
environment etc, and it certainly should not be rattling. In fact, you
should hardly hear it at all unless you place your ear on the device.

No, it will save the marked region as a separate file. To do what you want and
remove the region, mark it and press cmd-k, then go to file > export and save
the file.
