Dunno, sounds like a focus issue. Try doing a VO-Shift-Space or physically
clicking the mouse or trackpad (with trackpad commander off) to see if you can
get focus into the sign-in dialog. You should have no problem signing into
FaceTime separately if you want to.

This is an Air, so you should have a functioning microphone and camera. That's

My issue is that some sound comes out of the Mac even if I plug a headset into
