Home Sharing still works fine. The limitations with Home Sharing is that the
devices need to be using the same Apple ID. This has always been the case with
Home Sharing.

You don't move windows or tabs. You navigate within them. If you set
Finder to open in tabs, then open Computers for example, navigate to the
source folder and open it with command down. Select and copy your files.
If the destination is in Computers, open another instance of Computers

I don't understand how to move a new window or a new tab to whe

Command up and down opens and closes "folders", not "windows". You
