That mutes sound, yes, but I don't think it mutes the power-on chime. There is
a way to do that, but it is rather involved, and most people just leave it
alone. I'm not telling the OP not to try it, but if I recall, it is quite a

The ports across the back of the Airport Extreme are a small round power
port, USB, the WAN Gigabit Ethernet followed by three LAN Gigabit

If you are on Mavericks, that command has changed to vo-cmd-enter. I haven't
tested this, but try:
1. Interact with the table of contacts you want to select, and move to the
first of the contacts to be copied.
2. VO-cmd-enter twice (it was selected, so the first time de-selected it).
3. VO-arrow
It's safe, just don't do and possibly damaging commands. For instance, stay
away from deletions, moving, password and permission changes, and so on until
you have a better grasp on things. Aside from that, just google whatever it is
you are trying to do and give it a shot.

We have an hp laser jet printer which we want to share amoungst our 3

when I set up my airport extreme in bridge mode, all I had to do was connect it
to my Bell Router. In the bell router settings, I disabled the router
altogether and am just using the modem in it. Now, my extreme is the router.

OK I reproduced the folder mode described earlier.
If you hit command-control-0 this appears to sort items in the folder by how
recent they are. Hitting command-control-1 Organizes by name and turns off this
grouping feature.

So scripts that are general to all applications should go into the scripts
folder and scripts specific to an application should go into the application
