hello everyone. I tried to do a clean install of Lion yesterday and got only as far as the dialog "verifying computer eligibility with the appstore. It sat there and did nothing. I even waited an hour and still it did nothing. I restarted and retried and still got stuck at that point.
I checked my internet (working and machine connected) and checked anything else that may have contributed to this. I even used wireshark on a linux box to monitor the connection. What I got from that was that the machine tried to communicate with the app store but there didn't appear to be a return response. Anyone have any clues here? The reason I am going for a clean install is that my old installation (which I am using from a time machine backup) has some problems. THese problems include: excessive CPU usage on some apps, random crashes and voiceover lockups. anyone have suggestions? -eric -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
