I was quite happy with abbyy finereader express but decided to buy pro. Only I am having problems.
First of all, I don't see an option to scan to text which is what I often do. Secondly, my scanner runs but I get "no pages" when it's done and also I notice my scanner is dimmed in the actual scan to device menus. My scanner is a cannon lide 110; it works fine with vuescan and runs with finereader but I'm not getting any results. Perhaps I am missing a step. Is there a guide for this app somewhere?
