I agree with you! I've heard that "this works on JFW, so it must be accessible"
so many times! I'll be excited to see them loose some of their strangle hold on
the market.

Thanks so much! Does the new pack come as a zip file and how do I get it from
my computer to a stream?

Hi:
Streams work great on a Mac. You can hook it up via USB, or use the SD card
reader.

Hi Kev,
I was just curious about something you said in an earlier post. You said the
stream works with audible. It does? Do I have to pay for the additional
software to use it? I tried to paste a book Storm Prey by John Sanford
downloaded from Audible with Itunes on to my stream. The stream doe

The stream works great. The only thing you'll need is the new softpack add on
to listen to books from Audible or music from ITunes. The new additional
software interacts with ITunes now and that makes everything accessible.
Good luck and enjoy your stream...

Wow,
That is just amazing. I thought Freedom would have gone under a long time ago
given their high prices and lack of tech support at least in my opinion. I
think that people are tired of paying $1500 for a screen reader. I use
Window-Eyes that is currently being paid off via a payment plan.
I use it on windows wihtout the application since I believe that
installing uneeded programs on your computer, is well a waste of time
and you never know when a program will start acting up when you try to
uninstall it. I just went tot he windows instructions, read them,
followed them, and thats h
You should use a card reader to transfer files to the SD card, it is
much faster than using the VR stream.
There is no stream companem software for the Mac.

Nope, nothing special at all. I use the stream with no problems with my Mac.

Hi Everyone,
I'm in training at GDB in San Rafael, CA. They offer us a great deal on
streams, so I've decided to take the leap and buy one at the discounted price.
How will the stream and mac interact? Is there anything special I need to know
before I buy one?
Thanks, Olivia
