Hello Allison. I have heard some good things about handy tech as well as the brraille sense or braille sense plus. I use a "braille less" form of the latter PDA (the voice sense.) It is decent, not without its hitches that i unfortunately see way too often in PDAs made for us. But it (voice sense) is fairly decent and its braille sense line of notetakers are supported by apple for use as braille displays in the newest version of mac os but if you have an earlier version, you might want to check with apple. Sorry to hear about your bn MPower dying. mine lived a rather short life with a slow drawn out death and i had to get it replaced as well... Take care. -Sonnia
