With your VR stream connected to your mac through USB try command + shift + g. When the dialog comes up type /volumes enter. Then arrow up and down and see if you find your stream.

I have a macbook that is a couple of years old. Anytime I have connected my victor reader stream to the mac the stream was not recognized at all and my mac completely locked up. Has there been a change in compatibility? It's been a really really long time since I tried the USB connection from the stream to the mac. I've just always used the SD card reader since it's a lot faster anyways. The only reason I had for connecting my stream to the mac was when I was trying to authorize the stream for an audible account. Is this now possible on a mac? I had to borrow a PC to authorize my stream on Audible. Other than that I've never had to use a PC for anything. :) I actually need to authorize my stream again for audible since my SD card that had the audible files on it became corrupt and I had to trash it.

The only other issue I've had was that I could not transfer the notes (recorded items) to the mac and use them as I knew of no software to use those files. However, with the soft pack upgrade one can now record in mp3 or wav.

So, I love my stream and cannot imagine not having it and I have no problems getting content on my stream via a card reader. So, it works out great for me.

When I get on the mac, I'll forward you the Humanware announcement, along with the link to their website.

The audible stuff downloads directly from my PC to my stream, but haven't done this with the mac yet. The stream attaches to computer via one of those camera-typed usb cables which comes with it. It is one of the most awesome gadgets I've had the privelege of owning, Next to the MBP, of course:)

I'll send that link.

Thanks so much! Does the new pack come as a zip file and how do I get it from my computer to a stream?
