My understanding of the soft pack sis that you'll pay the extra $49. You can do this online or call Humanware to place your order. Then Humanware will e-mail you like a User Authorization Key type thing that you'll install onto your stream. i believe this sort of "unlocks" those extra features that you're paying the $49 for. Also, you must have the latest firmware installed onto the stream in order to install the soft pack upgrade. I have not done this yet though. I plan to next month.
You can play audible books on your stream without paying for the soft pack upgrade. However, some people prefer to listen to the "Enhanced" audible books and if you want to play those you will need to purchase the Soft Pack upgrade. The Soft Pack upgrade also has other features like playing itunes music and itunes audio books. It will also let you record notes in mp3 or wav. I hope that helps, Christina On Jun 5, 2010, at 1:52 PM, Olivia Norman wrote: > Thanks so much!
