Do I place this at the top of the document? The spacing in the document

Now LyX is making my spacing inconsistent in places (making it single
instead of double) to keep my section spacing consistent. Is there a way I

I'm wondering how to make a line break in the discharged math mode. I tried
it with Strg+Enter but then there where 3 new boxes in the new line. It
looked like the eqnarray-environment-boxes and it didn't work fine:

I'm using 1.5.6 on a MAC
age[cam,a4,center,dvips,color=cropgray]{crop}
Which works just fine in both PS and DVI output.
This is based on version 1.9 of the crop package,
