I use Lyx for writing my master and I like it very much. Now I want to
use ttf fonts for my x screen and it works with xfstt realy good.
Maybe, if I use "-ttf-tahoma" in the screenfonts section from options,
the screenfont is now tahoma. But when I close and reopen lyx all
changes are lost, in the

I want to use LyX to write my thesis in
linguistics. My text is interspersed with notations in the International
Phonetic Alphabet. I have installed some Type1 phonetic fonts. I can see them
in xfontsel, I can use them in, say, gedit. However, I don't find a way to use
them in LyX
