If you refer to the fonts in the editor with embedded preview off: Here with LyX 2.4.3 on Ubuntu Linux I can enlarge screen fonts - both in math-insets and "normal" non-math alike - with Ctrl + + and make them smaller with Ctrl + - This might be different if you have embedded preview toggled on, but then you can adapt the size of the previews by means of a scaling factor Preferences - Look and Feel - View (?)
