I must add (if it can help solve the problem), that when I run LyX from the command-line, I get the following message:
Loading required GL library /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2
that seems harmless, but the following doesn't, and I get it when I load a file containing the formulas I can't display correctly:
unusual contents found: [char E mathalpha][char ' mathalpha]
Is there someone to whom it does not seem crypic ?
Thanks in advance !

Hello,
I'm running Lyx 1.3.3 on a mandrake 9.2 box. When I installed and compiled lyx, it worked fine until one day (when I suppose I installed some RPM that made things wrong!). It is not a serious problem but annoying enough for me to send a call for help! Lyx does not display all math symbols correctly on screen since that day. For instance, I get a square instead of the sigma sign, or a filled small diamond instead of the "=>" sign, etc.
Can someone tell me what to do to come back to the previous, correct situation ?
Thanks in advance and sorry if the question has already been asked 142857 times before, I'm new to the ML ;-)
