It'll be a lot of work, but I think I can see exactly what you mean. Basically,

I've only been working with Lilypond for a couple months, but I haven't been
able to figure this out by the manual. I'm using version 2.6.4-5 for
Windows.
I use Lilypond for engraving congregational hymns. Almost all the songs
are in
4-parts, and have the 3 verses followed by a single chorus. A
contents out to latex for processing and sticks the results back into the
lilypond output? if it can't be done now, is it a feature worth sponsoring?

I have been playing with LilyPond on and off for a while now. I'm a programmer
and musician, so I feel like I have a head start. But it's--impressive--heavy
duty stuff. I'm still really doing only the basics with LilyPond.

(FYI: I am a programmer, non-GUI Java, but am new to scheme.)
In section 6.4.3 in the pdf Notation Reference manual (v 2.12.3), there's a
markup function written in scheme. In that fashion, I've successfully created my
first scheme function:

I should say that I only want the box-padding setting to be overridden for this
one markup-call to \box. Perhaps I should be using \once or \tweak or something
related...but I don't think it changes the basic question.

it will compile (2 places in the file).
3) if you remove the music after the problem areas, keeping the voice structure

Hello All:
I recently installed LilyPond 2.20.0 and it seems to be working well with
the default font. However, I'd like to use the lily jazz and chord fonts
and style sheet and have downloaded the .otf files and .ily files to do so
... but where do they go?
I put the otf files here:
Applications/
issues:
1) Do the .ily files have to go in a specific directory?
2) I copied and pasted the .ily files into separate text files (couldn't
see any way to download or install them directly from GitHub) and saved
those in the /otf directory ... are the .ily files something more than just
text?
