When the supervisor has executive busy override capability, they can join in
a call in progress by pressing the co line. That actually sets up a
conference call between the caller, the operator and the supervisor. I

How to setup this Silent Monitoring in the -5 UCD groups?
I have 3 groups and will this work from any phone? or it's necesary some
adaptor.

Yeah the trouble with that is that the conference button lights up
and if you have a display set it's not so stealth anymore

Funny things about S.O.
We use external SO units to catch the incoming lines
and use a "free" CO on the KSU to access the SOU.
Things that aren't immediately obvious
We only allow a few "execs" access to the SOU co port
by setting CO OUT -Enable (605/6), so that's all it
takes! Not quite!

The other draw back with the Busy Override is if the operators have
display phones they can see when the supervisor is on the line. You
could bridge across the handset but then you have to deal with a mess of
wiring.
I used a Viking SO unit. They had less than 24
Just grab the audio from the handset cord using an adapter.
