being put into coordination. From what I can tell, there are three
different tools underway. To me this seems like an unnecessary division

Now that's my favorite future feature!
I believe a glossary side pane is even more useful than fuzzy
translation, and with the feature you described we can use with less
key touches!

One important thing to note is that an extra tab for plural form
won't be sufficient. There are a number of languages which either have
no plural form or which have a number of plural forms. As such, the
interface will have to read the Plural-Forms line of the PO in order to
know how many tabs

I don't know how gtkspell compares with libsexy, but in most
distributions they are patched to use enchant instead of aspell. I
know enchant doesn't replace aspell, but that what happens: the
library (gtkspell, libsexy etc) can effectively use hunspell, ispell,
aspell, *spell...

Well, the current translation tools really annoy me and I often thought
about writing a new one because of some features:
- Automatic spell checking
- Semi-Automatic bug reporting for bad original strings
- Automatic line breaks at 78 characters
- Integrate list of often used standard transla
I believe text editor plugins are most popular between experienced
translators. Showing the raw message catalog could be a barrier to
newbies, but I'm not sure. What I really miss in text editor plugins
are automatic fuzzy translation and terminology-based suggestions.
