there i have a column called offset
pointing out the positions 0F, 10, 11 with literal string "UPX"
Dunno if it's good enough to detect a cpx file, but hope it helps :P

uh, i have the follow script written for bash:

nslookup $i >> nslookup_log.txt
done
it catches the content of a file passed($1) and does nslookup for each
entry of the file
and i would like to know how to rewrite it for command,

freedos does not support
all dos interruptions(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interrupt) also
afaik windows uses some undocumented interruptions...
