Hello everyone!
As you know, I'm currently the Django Coordinator of the Spanish
translation.
Unfortunately I've been really busy, and I was thinking of making some
volunteers reviewers of the spanish translation, as for now I'm the only

Hello folks!
I want to contribute to this library that gave me so many happy moments. I
especially want to help with the Spanish translation.
About me, I have been working with Django for about 5 years, and I also
contributed to other Django libraries with translation, so I'm here to
I think I can handle both. I am from Argentina and although I have no
experience translating texts in a formal way, I think that by paying
attention and working hard I could do an acceptable job in both dialects.
I'm following the 2.1 tutorial and until now almost everything in the

In page rendering element not found on UpdateView and DeleteView, I doubt
"No profesor encontrado coincide con la consulta" is a good translation.
"No se encontró ningún {{ name of the element }} coincidente con la
consulta" would be a much more appropiate translation.

Hello Malcolm, I know that the topic of this discussion is "Spanish
translation files" - but this seems to have went more to the way of
this new idea of language maintenance. I'd just like to say that I'm
up for maintaining the Swedish locale. I speak it fluently, etc.

First of all, we have to terms here:
- Spanish, Español
- Castilian, Castellano
There does not seem to be consensus on how to call the language talked in
Spain and also no consensus if those two terms refer to the same language.
Some people consider "Castellano" and "Español" to be synonyms

Since I was committing a bunch of other tickets tonight, I decided to
resolve the fact that we had two Spanish translations by committing the
