I played around modifying another filemanager (thunar), to see which
parameters are given, when "Open Containing Folder" is clicked:

The problem is that log10(100) is parsed as log (10(100)) = log(1000) = 3.
Just "log" already stands for "logarithm to base 10".

Although panticz' workaround does work for most people, I like to
remember that (as far as I understand) this is not a real fix to the
problem, because what it does is to prevent showing the dialog to save a
document, so a user might lose data that hasn't been saved yet.

The first and older remebered the password correctly. The newer never
did. After setting up a new user account and setting up bookmarks again

I spend a lot of hours a day in this database with difficulty. Pages
don't open or scroll properly, sometimes there is no cursor and I have
to reboot, cut and paste does not always work. Is this a windows only
based website? Any solutions?

The solution here is to add Unity to NotShowIn in the .desktop-file:
/etc/xdg/autostart/nm-applet.desktop
and probably also to:
/usr/share/applications/nm-applet.desktop
Not sure about app-install-data:
/usr/share/app-install/desktop/network-manager-gnome:nm-applet.desktop
