Title: gwibber doesn't quit when it should, notifications persist Status in Gwibber: Confirmed Status in “gwibber” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: When you select "Quit" from the File menu in Gwibber it should Quit, not close. Notifications persist even after the app has been exited (quit). Using Gnome 3 Shell. There should be a way to quit Gwibber completely from the menu options.
