assuming you're using dhclient;
/etc/dhclient-script
there's 2 lines where it calls a function make_resolv_conf that you can

Greetings;
I need to build a few linux machines and would appreciate
some recommendations for motherboards & processors. Just in
case one size does not fit all, here is what I will be
building:
- Desktop; word processing, graphics, wine, surfing, email.
- Mini server; router, firewall, lan DNS,

Can any Linux programs do the same? Using the libdvdcss library I can play
commercial DVDs w/o trouble. I'm in the mar

Hello,
I'm looking for the pyKDE package, but can"t find it. I've added the following
source
deb http://people.debian.org/~rcardenes sid main
(R. Cardenes is the maintainer of the package, apparently)
to my sources.list, but I only get pyQt. Do I have to build it from source, or
does anyone know

It's not exactly what you are asking for but the following may
accomplish the same result without trying to work outside dhclient's way
of doing things.
Looking through the Debian installation and reference
manuals, I found references to both dbootstrap and
debootstrap. What exactly are they, what is the
difference between them, and why is there a
debootstrap package, but no dbootstrap package.

I dont know about dbootstrap, but debootstrap is used to setup a system with
the bare minimum for apt to function. This way, you can get a system running
with only and exactly what you want.
Naitik.
