Using udhcpd on a multihomed server, it seems not to use the "interface"
directive
in udhcpd.conf.
Booth using a vlan syntaxe :
interface eth1.1
or a physical interface :
interface eth2
result in udhcpd binding/listening to

Yeck !! This is wrong (bad cut and paste). Those installations were with
2.6 and expert2.6 aka kernel 2.6.8-1.

In this bug report I stated that:
- the installation was without pb with kernel 2.4.27 + PATA mode.
- the installation didn't work with 2.4.
ping is not provided by d-i. It's a handy tool to have to diag. network pb.
lspci is not provided by d-i. /proc/pci is obsoletware for 2.6 and does
not exist with current 2.6 debian kernel.
Am I the only one to miss those tools ?
Are there other way to have the same features/informations ?

to say (everything was ok) except for the pb with the arabic line in
language-chooser. This ligne is back to a bunch of ? (This pb
doesn't show up on the powerpc-netinst-20040109).

The rational was lots of nic cards nowdays have bootprom/PXE integrated.
And from my point of view, network install are faster that floppy/cd.
The tftp boot image doesn't seem to have made it to bf-3.0.11.

For those interrested, aacraid is a patch to support adaptec raid carte
