The conclusion is:
-We should change kbd-chooser for showing the AT keymap list for i386/kernel 2.6
-the bug is a blocker for a release as it makes all 2.6 installs with non US USB keyboard unusable (Atl key not working, wrong layout as Mac and PC USB keyboards have different layouts)
-we are in trouble

I've access to both USB french PC keyboards and USB french Mac keyboards. If someone point me to tests to do I can do them tonight.

Otherwise I'm open to any tests people want me to run to fix/diag the pb with this box.
