I went through a 12 hour severe storm in 1999 that racked the boat enough to leave the bottom of the transverse rear bulkhead off the sole by an inch or so and left both cabin doors uncloseable. After a winter on the hard with the mast out, all returned to "normal". Nature of the beast methinks.

Nope.  Touche' does not have the J-Hook(s). Touche's collar is free floating.  Hence the reason I attached all the halyard turning blocks to the mast, not the deck. It was the turning blocks pressing down on the collar when the mast sunk that cause the bind in the head door. Dennis C. Touche'

Jake I have an almost identical setup for the Adler Barbour on Alianna. In your case, did the added Styrofoam insulation make a significant difference? Have you added any insulation around the sides or on the bottom of the icebox? I am considering adding polyurethane spray foam insulation.
